The Sultanate of Oman participated in the high-level ministerial meeting of the "Global Coalition for the Implementation of a Two-State Solution," which was co-chaired by Saudi Arabia as the chair of the Arab Islamic ministerial group on Gaza, Norway, and the European Union. In this meeting, which took place two years after the establishment of the coalition, Advisor Khalid bin Saleh Al-Rabhi, the Deputy Permanent Representative of the Sultanate of Oman to the UN, represented Oman.

In this meeting, participants examined recent developments in the Palestinian issue and international efforts and initiatives to achieve peace in the Middle East. Topics such as the implementation of the "New York Declaration for the Peaceful Resolution of the Palestinian Issue" and strengthening international efforts to turn these efforts into effective and practical actions were discussed. All participants emphasized the necessity of continuing international coordination to support the implementation of a two-state solution, which could help establish just and lasting peace in the region.

Ministerial Coordination Meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation

The Sultanate of Oman also participated in the annual ministerial coordination meeting of the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, chaired by His Excellency Hakan Fidan, the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Turkey. In this meeting, His Excellency Ambassador Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Qatbi, Head of the International Organizations Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, represented Oman.

On the sidelines of this meeting, the Sultanate of Oman also participated in a high-level event titled "Recalibrating Humanitarian Action and Responsible Transitions: Preserving Resilience Capacities and Principle-Based Work."
