The United States government, led by Donald Trump, has recently rejected any cooperation between China and Russia with Iran and emphasized that these countries provide "no" assistance to Tehran. Trump stated that Moscow and Beijing have "a lot to lose" and that if such support existed, it would be quickly identifiable.
Trump's Position on China and Russia
In a post published on his social media, Trump referred to the criticisms and statements of his opponents who believe that China and Russia are helping Iran. He said: "If they are helping, it is at a very low level, but I do not believe they are doing so." He also recalled that in July, he trusted these two countries not to assist Tehran in the war with Iran, but warned that if they did, it would be very bad for them.

The Impact of the Iran War on International Relations
The war between the United States and Iran began on February 28, during which the United States and Israel attacked Iran, and Tehran retaliated by attacking targets in Israel and Gulf countries. These conflicts have resulted in thousands of deaths and millions of people becoming homeless. Trump had previously described Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin as "neutral" in this regard.
Both Russia and China have close relations with Tehran. Russia has stated that the Iran war could lead to a nuclear arms race in the Middle East, while Beijing condemned the U.S. attacks on Tehran as a blatant violation of Iran's sovereignty. According to reports, Trump warned Xi during a meeting about China's support for Iran and obtained assurances that China would not assist Tehran.
This warning comes amid reports that China has supplied Iran with anti-aircraft missile systems and that Tehran has managed to circumvent oil sanctions with China's help. Trump also rejected a report claiming that Iran used Chinese facilities to obtain satellite images of a military base in Jordan.
