Muscat, Oman - The Meteorological Organization of Oman reported on today's weather, Monday, in the coastal areas of Dhofar province. According to forecasts, the day will generally have clear to partly cloudy skies, with a chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms in some areas.
Weather Conditions and Temperature
According to the Meteorological Organization, the temperature in Dhofar's coasts will be moderate, and pleasant weather is expected. This weather condition is particularly suitable for tourists and local residents. Currently, the temperature in these areas is forecasted to be around 25 to 30 degrees Celsius on average.
Chance of Rain and Weather Conditions
In the afternoon hours, the chance of thunderstorms in some areas of Dhofar increases. These rains may be locally intense, and there is also a possibility of relatively strong winds. For this reason, the Meteorological Organization has advised residents and travelers to take necessary precautions and avoid being in dangerous locations.
Additionally, this organization emphasized that weather conditions in other parts of Oman will remain relatively stable, with clear skies and temperatures within the normal range for this season. In the interior regions of the country, temperatures may reach up to 35 degrees Celsius.

Despite scattered rains and thunderstorms, the Meteorological Organization has advised people to avoid outdoor activities, especially during times when thunderstorms are likely. These recommendations include not using metal objects and staying away from trees and unstable structures.
