Volodymyr Zelensky, the President of Ukraine, stated that there is a possibility of a meeting between Ukraine, the United States, and Russia on the sidelines of the G20 summit in the United States. However, no confirmation has yet been issued by Washington and Moscow regarding this meeting, and according to Zelensky, other locations for holding this meeting may also be considered.

Holding the G20 Summit and the Possibility of a Meeting

The G20 summit, which includes the largest economies in the world, including the United States and Russia, but without the presence of Ukraine, is set to take place in December in Miami. Zelensky told reporters, "This meeting could take place in the United States during the G20 summit. But there is still no confirmation from Russia or the United States. This meeting may also be held in a European country."

He also pointed out that this meeting might take place in one of the Middle Eastern countries, such as the United Arab Emirates or Saudi Arabia. According to Zelensky, Ukrainian negotiators spoke with U.S. officials on Friday, but did not provide further details about these negotiations.

Ukraine's Military Challenges

Zelensky also referred to the challenges facing the Ukrainian military against Russian drone attacks, stating that the Ukrainian Air Force is unable to use its air defense systems due to speed limitations imposed by the satellite company Starlink. He added, "Today, our interceptor drones are inactive due to speed restrictions. We object to the claim that speed limitations have been created due to technical issues, as Starlink tests within the European Union have shown that such problems do not exist."

Zelensky also criticized former U.S. President Donald Trump, pointing to the lack of tougher sanctions against Russia during the past four years of war. Zelensky specifically criticized Trump's decision to lift sanctions on Russian diesel exports.

On Friday, Trump stated that he believes neither he nor Elon Musk, whose company SpaceX developed the Starshield system for the Ukrainian military, is responsible for the loss of Starlink access in Ukraine and its impact on Ukraine's military operations against Russia.

The reduction of services provided by this satellite company has led to disruptions in communications with the command center and decreased internet speed.
