Kazem Gharibabadi, Deputy for Legal and International Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, emphasized the continuation of regional contacts and interactions on the sidelines of the fifty-second meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Baghdad, stating that new resolutions in this regard will be reviewed.
Approval of Resolutions at the Baghdad Meeting
Gharibabadi announced at this meeting that the resolution presented at the previous meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation condemning the Israeli regime's attack on Iran's nuclear facilities will be approved at the current meeting. He noted that the final report of the Baghdad meeting will be reviewed considering the national interests and security of the country and the necessity of establishing just peace and stability in the region. These resolutions include documents agreed upon at the level of senior experts from member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.

Positions of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Region
He also referred to the importance of the final report of the Baghdad meeting and added: "Some countries may propose suggestions to be included in it." He emphasized that the delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran will carefully review these suggestions to ensure that the positions taken align with the national interests and security of the country. Gharibabadi further referred to the speech of the Foreign Minister at the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, stating that he outlined the positions of the Islamic Republic of Iran regarding peace and stability in the Persian Gulf region.
Emphasis on the Situation in Yemen and Palestine
The Deputy for Legal and International Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs discussed important regional issues, stating that the Foreign Minister emphasized the situation in Yemen and the necessity of establishing peace and stability in this country. Gharibabadi also referred to the crimes of the Israeli regime in Gaza, noting that this issue was raised in the speeches of the Foreign Ministers of Islamic countries as one of the common concerns.
Continuous Contacts with Regional Countries
In response to another question about the regional meeting in Salalah, Oman, Gharibabadi stated that contacts and interactions with the Foreign Ministers of regional countries are continuously maintained. He emphasized that despite the unfavorable regional conditions due to the aggressive actions of the United States and the Israeli regime, these contacts and communications continue at the highest level.
This official from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also referred to the meetings at the United Nations General Assembly, adding that meetings with counterparts from the southern Gulf countries have also taken place during these sessions. Gharibabadi also mentioned a memorandum of understanding between Iran and Oman regarding the Strait of Hormuz, stating that this meeting could have been an opportunity for dialogue among eight countries on regional peace and security.
