Analysis of the Vance Letter and Positive Steps
Araghchi referred to the Vance letter, stating that it has been carefully reviewed and discussed in high-level meetings. He emphasized that the American side's efforts to open doors for dialogue and understanding, if Washington's goal is not to create discord, would be considered a positive step; otherwise, it would be a new mistake added to its previous errors.

The Iranian Foreign Minister clarified that there is currently no plan for a meeting with American officials, and the discussions raised in this regard are merely media speculations. He also stated that mediators are continuing their consultations on this matter, and decisions about the negotiations will be made after Washington agrees to Iran's conditions. Araghchi added: "An Iranian delegation has traveled to Doha, and my deputy is present in Qatar to continue consultations. Qatari and Pakistani mediators are examining our conditions."
In this context, Araghchi referred to Iran's conditions, stating: "Our conditions include the lifting of sanctions imposed after the Islamabad agreement and the reduction of American forces in the region." He also called for the restoration of oil exemptions and the release of frozen assets, especially our assets in Qatar.
The Foreign Minister of our country continued: "The reopening of the Strait of Hormuz according to our conditions will pave the way for resuming negotiations with Washington." Araghchi also mentioned Iran's readiness to face any scenario and emphasized that his country does not rule out the possibility of war and is prepared for all situations.
He concluded by stating: "Iran is a member of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons and adheres to its commitments. However, we do not deny the economic pressures, but we will not surrender. We will continue to resist and endure, and we will overcome this difficult phase with our capabilities."
