On Tuesday night, loud explosions were heard near the headquarters of Saudi Arabia's national oil company, Aramco, located in Dhahran. This incident occurred amid a significant escalation of the war between the Houthis, who are backed by Iran, and the Saudi-led coalition. Various sources have reported the occurrence of these explosions, although precise information regarding the extent of damage and casualties is not yet available.

Details of the Explosions and Reactions

According to reports, one source close to the matter stated that the Aramco headquarters was hit; however, it is unclear whether the building was directly targeted or if the damage was caused by falling debris. Another source also reported a fire in the Aramco building in Dhahran and noted that an evacuation order had been issued for the building.

The Saudi-led coalition has stated that missile fragments that were successfully intercepted in Dhahran fell into a residential area. Officials also reported that several drones and missiles were identified and destroyed in Riyadh and the southern regions of the country.

Houthi Response and Regional Tensions

In the past week, the Houthis have launched ballistic missiles and drones towards key locations in Saudi Arabia. These attacks are interpreted as a response to Saudi Arabia's support for the Yemeni government forces in the country's civil war. Riyadh International Airport has also been attacked four times, with one of these attacks resulting in the deaths of 13 people on Saturday.

The Houthis have also announced that Saudi Arabia has attacked the Yemeni capital, Sana'a, and the Saudi-led coalition has urged citizens to avoid an oil depot on the outskirts of the city. Houthi television, Al-Masirah, has reported that the Saudi coalition is targeting them.

Currently, tensions in Yemen have sharply increased, and both sides are on high alert. Meanwhile, the humanitarian situation in Yemen has become critically severe due to the war and conflicts, and the need for humanitarian aid has become a fundamental priority.
