The Al-Madhhibi Health Clinic was inaugurated today in the Northeastern Governorate of Oman, and this action is considered an important step towards the development of the healthcare system in Oman. Details of the Inauguration Ceremony
The inauguration ceremony of this clinic was held under the supervision of Zahir Salim Al-Salmi, Deputy Chairman of the Financial and Administrative Oversight Committee of the Government. The Al-Madhhibi Clinic, as an important addition to the healthcare system of the governorate, will serve a population of approximately 34,229 people across 26 villages. This clinic is expected to improve access to healthcare services and bring these services closer to the community, in an environment that adheres to standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Services Offered at the Clinic
The clinic has a comprehensive set of health services and facilities, including 16 specialized and general clinics, general medical services, laboratory and radiology services, a pharmacy, oral and dental health services, prenatal and postnatal care, pediatric care and vaccinations, chronic disease programs, and health promotion services. Additionally, this clinic also offers physiotherapy, elderly care, and home health services.
The clinic is also equipped with essential medical and administrative facilities, including a fully equipped medical laboratory, a physiotherapy unit, a radiology room, a pharmacy, a meeting room, and administrative offices. These facilities provide an integrated working environment for healthcare professionals and help facilitate service delivery and improve the experience of service users.
Importance of the Project in Healthcare Development
This project is particularly significant in light of the development of healthcare services in the Al-Madhhibi region. Healthcare services in this region began in 1978, and the construction of the modern clinic started in 2024, ultimately opening in 2026. This project represents another step towards the development and modernization of the healthcare sector in the Northeastern Governorate of Oman.
