Emmanuel Macron, the President of France, traveled to Kuwait on Monday to discuss with Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Emir of Kuwait, during an official meeting. This visit aims to strengthen bilateral relations and address important issues regarding military and health cooperation.
Military Talks and Defense Cooperation
Before Macron's trip, Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, the Minister of Defense of Kuwait, met with Louis Guévin, the French Ambassador to Kuwait, on Sunday. During this meeting, the two sides discussed common issues, particularly military cooperation and ways to strengthen defense relations between the two countries. This meeting is considered an important step towards enhancing security and military cooperation in the region.
Health Cooperation and Exchange of Experiences
During this visit, Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadhi, the Minister of Health of Kuwait, also met with the French Ambassador. The main topic of this meeting was the development of bilateral cooperation in the health sector and the exchange of experiences and knowledge in healthcare services. Both sides emphasized the importance of continuing coordination and expanding long-term relations between Kuwait and France to enhance health cooperation in line with their common interests.
These meetings reflect the willingness of both countries to develop relations in various fields and strengthen security and health cooperation.
