Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, Iran's Foreign Minister, stated in an interview with a reputable global media outlet that an Iranian delegation has gone to Doha and currently sees no need to meet with American officials.
Efforts for Dialogue and Understanding
Araghchi emphasized the American side's efforts to open the door for dialogue and broader understandings, describing this move as a positive step. He also pointed out that if Washington's goal with the letter from J.D. Vance, the former U.S. Vice President, is to stir controversy, this would add to the previous mistakes of that country.

Iran's Conditions and Mediators' Consultations
The Iranian Foreign Minister noted that there is currently no plan to meet with American officials and what is being discussed in this regard is merely media speculation. Araghchi clarified that Iran's conditions are clear and mediators are continuing consultations about these conditions. He also added, "After Washington agrees to our conditions, we will decide whether the negotiations will be direct or indirect."
Araghchi emphasized that Qatari and Pakistani mediators are continuing consultations regarding Iran's conditions and have made proposals concerning nuclear issues that Iran is currently reviewing. Additionally, the Iranian Foreign Minister thanked the Qatari and Pakistani mediators for their efforts and stated, "Iran's proposal is currently the only proposal on the table for reopening the Strait of Hormuz."
Iran's Conditions and Demands
Araghchi referred to Iran's conditions and said, "These conditions include the lifting of sanctions imposed after the Islamabad agreement and the reduction of American forces in the region." He also called for the restoration of oil exemptions and the release of all blocked assets, including assets in Qatar. Araghchi added, "Recognizing the new shipping route we have established with the Sultanate of Oman in the Strait of Hormuz and closing all other routes is another of our conditions."
Araghchi continued: "Reopening the Strait of Hormuz according to our conditions will pave the way for resuming negotiations with Washington on remaining issues." He also mentioned the possibility of war and stated, "We do not rule out any possibility and are prepared for all scenarios."
The Iranian Foreign Minister also referred to his country's efforts in modernizing weapons and the readiness of forces, stating, "We are at the highest level of our preparedness."
Araghchi further referred to Iran's commitment to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons and said, "Our nuclear facilities, which were under the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency, were targeted, and the Agency does not have an inspection protocol for such cases." He emphasized that there is still a long way to go before returning to cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency.
In conclusion, the Iranian Foreign Minister stated, "We do not deny the economic pressures, but we will not surrender and will not give up our dignity and honor. We will remain steadfast and resilient and will overcome this difficult phase with our capabilities."
