Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, the Sultan of Oman, warmly received His Highness Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Advisor, today at the Al Barakah Palace. This meeting takes place within the framework of an official visit that His Highness Sheikh Tahnoun has made to Oman.
Greetings and Well-Wishes
At the beginning of this meeting, His Highness Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, to His Majesty the Sultan and wished him health and happiness. His Highness Sheikh Tahnoun also sincerely wished for the progress and prosperity of the Sultanate of Oman and its people.

In return, Sultan Haitham bin Tariq conveyed his greetings to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and wished success and elevation for the UAE government and its people. His Majesty the Sultan emphasized the depth of the brotherly and strong relations between the two countries and two nations, highlighting the importance of these ties in serving mutual interests.
Exploring Cooperation Opportunities
During this session, which was attended by His Highness Sayyid Dhiyazan bin Haitham Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs of Oman, the areas of cooperation and friendly relations between the UAE government and the Sultanate of Oman were discussed in detail. The two sides exchanged views on existing opportunities to strengthen these relations and addressed various issues of significance to both countries.
Additionally, His Majesty the Sultan and His Highness Sheikh Tahnoun discussed several common issues and challenges, sharing their opinions on these matters. These discussions reflect the strong determination and will of both countries to cooperate in various fields and serve the interests of both nations.
Following this meeting, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq hosted a banquet in honor of His Highness Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan and his accompanying delegation.
Prior to this meeting, His Highness Sheikh Tahnoun arrived in Muscat and was welcomed at the Royal Airport by His Highness Sayyid Dhiyazan bin Haitham Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, and a number of senior Omani officials.
During this visit, His Highness Sheikh Tahnoun was accompanied by a delegation that included His Excellency Ali bin Hamad Al Shamsi, Secretary-General of the Supreme National Security Council, His Excellency Mohammed Hassan Al Suwaidi, Minister of Investment, and other high-ranking officials.
This visit demonstrates the determination of both countries to develop and strengthen bilateral relations and emphasizes the importance of economic and political cooperation in the region.
