Pressure on the Cuban Government and Political Changes
As the war with Iran shows no clear end, Trump continues to aggressively pursue his policies against Cuba. In his recent speeches, he has described the country as a "failed state" and promised freedom to Cuban representatives. These remarks have elicited negative reactions from the Cuban delegation at the United Nations General Assembly.
Trump has also maintained pressure on the Cuban government during his second presidential term, clearly stating that his goal is a fundamental change in the Cuban government. U.S. oil sanctions have severely impacted Cuba's economy, leading to fuel shortages and blackouts. Human rights experts have condemned these sanctions as violations of international law.
At this campaign rally, Trump also supported Florida Republican representative Byron Donalds, who is running for governor. This speech took place as Trump continues to hold campaign rallies in friendly areas, addressing various topics including his voter base, White House renovations, and renaming the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America.
