Abbas Araghchi, Iran's Foreign Minister, in a recent interview, emphasized the country's readiness to manage crises and wars and announced that no negotiations will take place regarding Iran's missile program.
War with Israel and Crisis Management
Araghchi stated that Iran has gained valuable experiences in the recent war and has been able to test its missiles in a real battle. He clearly stated that if Israel takes any hostile action, the consequences will be very bad for it. Araghchi also pointed out that Israel has attempted to expand the scope of the war by targeting Iran's oil facilities, but Iran has managed it well.

Negotiation Conditions and Nuclear Program
Araghchi continued by saying that Iran is ready to negotiate to address concerns about its nuclear program and is confident of its peaceful nature. However, he emphasized that there will be no negotiations regarding Iran's missile program and that no rational human would accept disarmament. Araghchi also referred to economic pressures and emphasized that Iran will not surrender and will continue its resistance. He noted that Iran's conditions include the lifting of sanctions and a reduction of U.S. military presence in the region.
Response to Vance's Letter
The Iranian Foreign Minister also mentioned that the letter from J.D. Vance has been carefully reviewed and discussed in high-level meetings. Araghchi emphasized that if Washington's goal in sending Vance's letter was to create controversy, it would add another mistake to their previous errors. He also stressed the need to reopen the Strait of Hormuz based on Iran's conditions and called for an end to the war on all fronts.
Readiness for All Scenarios
The Iranian Foreign Minister also said: "We do not rule out any possibility of renewed war and are prepared for all scenarios." He referred to the updating of weapons and testing of new arms, stating that Iran's forces have reached the highest level of readiness. Araghchi also emphasized that Iran is committed to its obligations under the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT).
No Plans to Meet with the U.S.
Araghchi concluded by saying: "There are no plans to meet with U.S. officials, and Iran sees no necessity for this meeting at the current time." He also mentioned that Qatari and Pakistani mediators are still negotiating Iran's conditions, and after Washington agrees to Iran's terms, a decision will be made regarding whether negotiations will be direct or indirect.
